A Balsamic Vinegar beer: a winning one!

A Balsamic Vinegar beer is among the winners of the Craft Beer Rising 2018! The competition takes place every year in London, at the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane. This year the price went to an emerging Italian beer factory: ORA!

The founders of this beer firm come from Modena, three friends founded the beer factory in 2016. Especially relevant is that they always keep in mind their origins and traditions.

Ten years ago, Daniele, Pietro and Emanuele decided to start making artisan beer for fun in their garage. After receiving a very favorable feedback, they decided to take their passion to the next level. Therefore, they started to sell their beers in Emilia Romagna and Milan. That’s how ORA Brewing was born. ORA Brewing exports to England today.

They have never forgot where they are from and to honor their birthplace. As a result, they have decided to create a new beer: “The Balsamic”. It is a Balsamic Vinegar beer, that pays homage to the most known gastronomic product from Modena: Original Balsamic Vinegar.

In addition, they have found a new and original way to use Balsamic Vinegar and created a Balsamic Vinegar beer that, as in their website, is “an incredible balance between balsamic profile, roasted character, dry herbal finish and milky sweetness”.

Their Balsamic Vinegar beer is a Milk Stout and use IGP Traditional Balsamic Vinegar mixed with other fine ingredients, such as: Dark Crystal, Pale, Chocolate, Black, Flaked Oats, Vanilla.

With this new creation, the Balsamic Vinegar beer, these three young Italian founders have shown that respecting and honoring the traditions can always obtain a reward, even from another country that is not so aware about the great product that Balsamic Vinegar from Modena represents.
