Summer is almost over, but salads are always a good option. In particular the Cesar Salad with Balsamic Vinegar.

  • 2 romaine lettuce
  • 400 gr of chicken
  • 50 gr of flakes of Parmesan cheese
  • 100 gr of bread

Add oil, mustard, Worcester sauce and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar.

At this point, season with salt and pepper. Mix everything.

The result should be a thick brownish-like sauce.

The Cesar Salad gets its name from its creator the Italian chef Cesare Cardini who in 1924 invented the recipe, having no other products available.

How to prepare the salad

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan.

Add the chicken that you have already cut into strips or cubes. At this point sauté until you obtain the desire cooking level. Now you can add salt and pepper as much as you want.

Toast a few slices of bread and cut it into cubes. We will add it to the salad to create the famous crunchiness.

In the meantime, wash and dry the lettuce. Cut the salad leaves and place them in a bowl.

At this point, add the still hot chicken and the previously prepared sauce.

Add the Taggiasca olives, the flakes of Parmesan cheese and the crunchy bread.
