Monari Federzoni acquires Fattorie Giacobazzi
Sabrina Federzoni, CEO and President of Monari Federzoni Spa, said that the two companies are synergistic with each from the point of view of production, sales channel and presence in various markets.
She also said that the acquisition underlines the company’s desire to enhance the Modenese territory thanks to a symbolic product: the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. This product has dominated the main business of her family from more than a hundred years.
The two companies are two concrete and well-known entities that will maintain their respective specificities and skills, creating a system of excellence will allow the company to continue sharing the culture of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and to grow in Italy and the world.
Giampiero Calzolari, President of the Granarolo Group, has spent words of satisfaction for this acquisition that allows maintaining the continuity of Italian ownership with a company focused on Balsamic Vinegar of Modena production.
We remind you of an important fact: in 2017 the Associated British Foods owner of Twinings brand acquired the Acetum market leader company bringing the ownership of the historic Modenese company to England.
