You have balsamic vinegar, a lots of strawberries and guests coming over? We got the solution for you! These Strawberry Martini Shortcake with Balsamic Vinegar will be dessert and cocktail (with no alcohol) and heaven! This time our idea is to give you new ideas on how to use our black gold! Little trick: we use premade pudding mix.
Ingredients for 4 cakes: strawberries 24 (save 4 for garnish), originale balsamic vinegar 50 ml., orange zest, heavy cream 33ml, pudding mix 80 g., lemon cookies crushed, sugar for decoration.
Clean 20 strawberries and save 4 for the successive garnish. Cut the remaining 20 strawberries into small pieces and place them in bowl. Pour 1/4 of the balsamic vinegar and the orange zest and mix with the fruit. Cover the strawberries with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge.
In another bowl put the whole heavy cream with the pudding and mix. When fully mixed put half of the lemon cookies crumbs.
Now you are absolutely ready to compose your dessert.
Place 4 tablespoon of sugar on a small plate, and place the 1/4 of the remaining balsamic vinegar in another small plate. Grab one glass and dip the rim into the vinegar and coat it into the sugar.
Spoon 1/4 of the mixture into a glass and top it with 1/4 of the strawberries mixture. Sprinkle with 1/4 of the lemon cookies crumbs. Garnish the dessert with the saved strawberries.
