Balsamic Vinegar of Modena The Original: an ongoing project. It started in 2017 and was designed by Balsamic Vinegar Consortium PGI. This project is co-financed by the European Union and is focused on promoting this Modenese culinary excellence. It will be renewed for another three years from 2020 to 2023.
During the last few days, the Consortium has announced a new call for tenders. It will be elected a new organization for the activities of social media promotion and social events.

The European Community has invested and developed the project during the last years. The primary goal is to improve the awareness of the consumer in identifying the real product from the fake product. The products that have obtained the European Geographic Indication (EGI) and the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) are different because of the special characteristic and peculiarity. The project of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena The Original has concentrated the activities on the USA market (in particular California, New York and Florida). During the last three years, this project has tried to involve young chefs, celebrities, food blogger, foodservice operators of medium / high level and food lovers. The goal has been to focus on the original Modenese Balsamic product.
As you can imagine, the importance of this initiative is enormous. We are glad to share that official organizations want to promote the Made in Italy Food in different markets as the American one.
