The International Food Blogger Conference is the unmissable appointment that took place in Sacramento, California, promoted by the Consortium of Protection.
The new tool, through which the Consortium for the Protection of the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena wants to reach new customers, is the Foodblogging. In particular, the campain “Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, the Original” will involve bloggers, writers, social media gurus and influencers, whose job will be to transmit the necessary information to recognize the autentical product, appreciate the taste and how to experiment it in various recipes.
The Director of the consortium for the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, Federico Desimoni, thinks that blogs changed our perception of the world. Foodbloggers have a major impact on people who love to explore different cuisines. In the last years they earned increasing visibility and we want to use this given opportunity. The campaign aims to promote the value of the product, in terms of authenticity, food safety, traceability and labelling. The main target, though, is teaching the “original” Balsamic Vinegar by verifying the presence of the IGP mark and the special symbol of the European Community, which works as the BEST warranty for the consumer.
However, the International Food Blogger Conference won’t be the only event that will put Balsamic Vinegar under the spotlight in the U.S.A.: Balsamic Vinegar will conquer everyone, together with famous chefs from the 7th to 13th of October during the three stages of “Golose Identità” in the United States Chigago ( 7 and 8 October), New York (10-12 October) and Boston (13 October).
From the 12th to the 15th the project “Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, the original”, will be presented at the Festival Wine & Food of New York City, the most waited event of the year, which includes celebrities, chefs, the most famous media gourmets.
